South Pacific Integrated Development Program
This major regional program is designed to promote an integrated series of developmental programs throughout the Pacific region.
The program assists FSPI (Foundation of the Peoples of the South Pacific International) and its Pacific Island network members to undertake programs in key development sectors and enables them to focus on the priorities of each nation.
Components include the sustainable use of natural resources, institutional strengthening, good governance, civil society, education, health and small enterprise initiatives. The regional nature of the program promotes international co-operation and sharing of information and resources

Participating countries include Fiji, Kiribati, Palau, Papua New Guinea, Samoa, the Solomon Islands, Timor Leste, Tonga, Tuvalu and Vanuatu.

Australian Cooperation Agreement Solomon Islands (ACSI)
ACSI is AFAP’s Good Governance Project entitled Building Livelihoods, Empowerment and Strategic Planning (BLESS) in the Solomon Islands.
Funded by the Australian Agency for International Development (AusAID), this project improves the quality of life of the community, particularly at village level, through strengthening local governance structures and supporting more inclusive processes in target areas in the islands of Guadalcanal, Malaita and Isabel.
