Fundraising and Development Education Manager
A rewarding opportunity exists to join an innovative overseas aid organisation, that aims to make a positive difference in the lives of people throughout Africa, Asia and the Pacific.
AFAP is looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic person seeking to contribute to our program through coordinating and fostering communication on our development program and associated fundraising within the Australian community.
The Fundraising and Development Education Manager will provide professional expertise in the development, resourcing and delivery of strategies for existing and new development education. The position will initially be part-time (20 hours per week) at a salary including superannuation of $30,000 per year. Depending on performance, we hope to be able to offer the successful candidate extension of the contract into a full-time position.
The successful applicant will have fundraising experience; development experience or demonstrated extensive interest; and appropriate tertiary qualifications. They will possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, be computer literate, and have a current NSW Driver’s Licence. The successful applicant will also bring an ability to work within the philosophy of AFAP.
The successful candidate will be required to successfully complete a Pre-Employment Medical and relevant Checks.
